MY AFRICANA WOMAN (HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY)

Image
“ Love your color, Love your heritage for out of you is valor birthed and the strength of generations undiscovered, discovered... ”   African women are women who were born in, who are born of parent(s), who live in, and are from the continent of Africa. The culture evolution and history of African women is related to the evolution and history of the African continent itself. In describing an African woman most people believe that she must be a deeply dark skinned, full figured voluptuous woman, hardworking and full of respect both for the old and the young. But the Africana woman is not one who is merely described by her outward appearance, she is worth more than a skin tone or a hair texture or even the outfit she wears. She is worth more than the cowries on her neck and the “jigida” beads, on her waist. She is a woman of great strength, profound wisdom and “Humble Pride” a humble pride because humility is her nature and pride because she hails from the great continent of Africa.
